After running this dashcam for 6 months Apeman Dashcam I've decided to semi hardwire it in as it's annoying remembering to plug it into the 12v and even more annoying remembering to take it out again. The Apeman hard wire kit fits into the OBD port so I don't have to fiddle in the fusebox, it also has a low voltage cut off.
£50 for the lot, not bad. I did have some issues initially with the dashcam which were cured by using a better spec SD card, no problems since then.
For a low budget dashcam it does the job for me.

Whilst I had a headache (twice) with finding centre caps I know @Jayjmac has managed to get some VW caps to fit his Sportlines.Just picked these up... But I need some help....

Id like to use VW Logo caps... so I took a chance and got some 6R0071410 60mm wide at the front face and the rear are about 58mm..so will not fit ....what I think I need is 60mm front with 55/56mm back...if that all makes sense....So can anyone HELP with a good number

Thanks - wondered if you might say that about condensation.
I have an internal 3 piece screen at the moment which fixes on with suction cups. I can update once I’ve tried this one on the difference but it might be a while! I’m looking forward to not having to clamber around trying to fix the internal ones though. The downside is that it’s a lot bigger and heavier to transport

Very eady to adapt, I just nicked the corner edge off with a hacksaw, made a neat job
Some have used Dremmel's but it's easily do able without one

Been there done that.2 bits of plastic arrived today that don't really serve a purpose and will hardy ever be seen....& I've paid over £100 for them!!

I also go the drivers side plastic with the battery cover though
I left that bit on.
I had to do a very small mod to where the left hand side sits on the battery tray wall, took me seconds with the dremmel.
