What Have You Bought Today?

She probably wouldn’t notice, my Missus wouldn’t anyway.
You don’t have ol’ gannet eyes looking at the credit card bill when it lands! I’m not complaining, SWMBO spotted a fraudulent transaction once

Not saying she wouldn’t notice the bank balance, just the van doesn’t get a second glance, I could probably get it sprayed dayglo green and she wouldn’t notice.

@Jollyvan how are you getting along with this.. has it proved useful for monitoring the DC DC Charger..? TIA
@JasonW Not quite there yet. It is not straight forward to set up as the App has to be sent from Ablemail and downloaded to PC then copied to phone (I am using Android) also the default settings are for AGM and I want to set it up for Lithium. I am waiting for a screenshot of settings from Ablemail. To be fair I don't think Covid is helping with communications. Once it connected by Bluetooth it did show the state of both batteries and there are a lot of optional settings available. P.S. I am using it with an AMS 12-12-30. I will keep you informed

Ha ha ha! A blessing in disguise!

An exciting purchase today.... A 100% waterproof bag for the Ovano to chuck any wet/filthy kit in. Sold by Decathlon as a "Game Bag".... Handy in the event of needing to carry a dead Boar!

Hummed and hahhed, then went for it. Bike rack finally bought for the van. My bike sits in the van fine for travel, both wheels on, but it's when I'm overnighting the evening before using it that I need the rack. There's also the issue of putting a dirty bike back in the van.
Fiamma Bike Rack, barn doors.
Hopefully I'll be easily able to put it on and take it off as required, I don't use my bike that often.

There’s something about having a nice gadget delivered. Mr UPS man just dropped off this which I didn’t mind getting out of bed for (not lazy - just working nights )
@Donk ... this may be a stupid question or 3! I have a T6 with the iLX-F903D fitted! I will be honest it was fitted when I bought the Van, however, unless I am missing something about how good it is - I must be I am sure? As far as I can see it is a Radio, DVD player, DBA+, USB, Bluetooth, Android player?
I only use the Bluetooth and DAB Radio and was thinking of removing it and selling it? Any idea how easy to get out? Is it straight forward? Appreciate any thoughts and comments, Paul

That’ll double as a bath when camping off sites.

I may have to buy 1, as the latest camp site we have booked for the back end of 2021 has no showers.

They emailed this:

"We spoke on the phone regarding you stay. I have penciled the booking in. £20 per night on the CL and await your membership number, no rush. Just drop me an email and your dates and I will add it in for you. Price per night inclusive is £20, that’s EHU, Water and grey waste.

Kind Regards

Rachel

Please note: I see you are in a VW Camper – Please be aware we do not have showers."

Struggling to see what the issue is! Or have you booked dates very close to “Xmas shower” time?

6 very fluffy grey microfibre towels for use on the van, plus Gtechnic W7 tar remover and lastly a wiper arm puller so I can sound deaden the scuttle.

@Jlo. Just goes to show how men and women are different. You're obviously grateful for it (as I would be) but in my house, buying that frying pan for my wife as a birthday present would probably result in me being beaten to death with it.

I had never thought of it that way! You've got me thinking now! :D

Just ordered OEM sliding window and a solid one for a day camper conversion.

Is that with the complimentary leak?
I've actually talked with 9 owners of sliding windows local and 1 of them had a leak which was fixed by changing a plastic piece in the guide pin on an older model sliding window. And if any leaks were to show up im confident its nothing I can't McGyver, its just a seal pushed against the edge, either fix the seal or ensure its pushed hard enough, seems simple.
