Finally had enough of the leaking VW factory windows, so replaced them yesterday with the flush ones from Camper Glass ...
Did contemplate doing them myself, but managed to get a couple of fitters from a local well know glass company to do them. Glad they did as not the easiest of things to get out even with their specialist equipment (I would have certainly messed that up). Nice to see that there was no corrosion around the main frame on the door, meaning that as well documented on the forum the leaking was thru the sliding window itself. The top of the sliding frame on the right side was rusted and had pushed the plastic up resulting in reduced sealing, hence the leak.
Slider on the Camper Glass are smaller than the VW original and have a much better locking mech + larger drain channels so I'm hopeful that soggy footwells will be a thing of the past. Only negative is originals had darker tint than these, but could always get them done later. Anyway rather have a dry window than a darker tint.

Next time started with an ABT-E T6 and just fit a diesel generator?
need to he able to travel all over the UK with it lol. Work all over so use mine as my accommodation all week, and then away at weekends barely ever at home.

Yeti is great stuff you get what you pay for, I use the mugs as my everyday coffee mug and it goes through the dishwasher, looks as good as they day I got it
Totally agree. I've taken to using a metal wire scourer on inside of mine... Comes up great and no noticeable damage....
