What Have You Bought Today?

I have a shiny new not on offer (sadly) All In Plan for BigTruckie as my factory warranty ended this weekend.

There are enough wrinkles croping up on 6.1s I don't want to wait for an offer.

Coincidentally it's having it's blender flap servo replaced this week under the original warranty...

Just spotted that the older 100w Renogy folding panels were at a low price on Amazon (£87) and also I was offered a voucher bring them down to £65.

Not sure if that voucher would be offered to everyone but at £65 delivered I figured it was worth a shot to play with as both my power packs and the fridge will take a solar input.

Just had a look and the discount code brings it down to £65 this end as well, thats a pretty good price !

I'm tempted by one of these ...i'd need a controller and some leads etc too at a guess?

How well do those work? I have a big folding one for the rear kitchen pod but I still have issues on blowy days...

In short are these panels any good ? Do i push the button ??

Hi, just wondering how you have been getting on with your Isabella drive away awning. We are in the market for a drive away and like the look of the Isabella, would value your thoughts on advantages and any if snags or let downs etc. Cheers!

@Stanleyontour

Don’t know if you got an answer but we took the plunge and by far the best awning we have had. Fits really well and has been waterproof during downpours and mistral resistant ! Reeks of quality - only real complaint is that instructions are very minimal and we are only now working out what some of the clips and fasteners actually do. It is bulky when in its bag - but not an issue for us.

I don't know till I get them, but I followed @Dellmassive links to read his reviews and thoughts.

That thread tells you why I'm buying them, depends why you are wanting to buy them, and that's probably a discussion to have off this thread.
LOL. . . . that was a lot of reading to follow the links back to see what we are talking about.

It's a custom built battery, cell by cell into the lower back cupboard with a 3000w inverter. I wanted to get to 1000, but cells don't match. So 820ah I wanted to be able to run nearly anything with no issues, just incase, plus it's going to act as a jump start ik emergency
nice. . . .

we`ll be needing a build thread on that.

1000ah of lithium, now thats got me thinking. . . . . . . 10x100`s?, 2x400`s + 2x100`s?, 4x 230`s.

hmm?

plus a Victron Multiplus 3Kva 12v/120.

but space,space,space.. . . thats always the compromise in a T6.

next upgrade - Crafter lol.

Japs fuel is 100 ron
Uk unleaded 95 ron
Uk super unleaded 97 ron
I fitted an aftermarket ecu and got it mapped on shell V power which is 99 Ron.
Most modern ecus can be mapped pretty easily without being replaced.
It might not be a problem on your R32 but I’d check to find out anyway as running an engine with fuel with a lower octave content than its mapped for can damage your engine.

Our imported WRX STi needed V-Power + Octane Booster bottles to get it to run correctly.
