Hey CB

Read up on sounds like a golf door seal application - I was discussing the seals yesterday

I believe golf door seal application is different on the drivers door to the passenger door. If your instructions don't specify a difference the pic below highlights where the seal is apparently supposed to begin on the drivers door - directly below the bung. I'm gonna adjust mine when I'm off on friday and see how it is.

Others may say different but my passenger door shuts fine yet the drivers needs a firm and noizy slam. Perhaps the seal rubber will bed in over the summer months - I don't know

my driver side was the same just need that extra push, i have no patients so, in the end i cut it short doing away with the bottom edge shut fine now, will prob try again in future to see where its proud with a new seal

yes might of settled after a while, but after being a driving instructor 20 years ago all my patients where used up so off it came, should of work back bit by bit from front edge to see where problem was but no out came the big scissors

I have literally only checked box contents, but no instructions appear to have been included. Ordered from Vanstyle in the end, as my brother wanted a few things from them too.

I will do some Google and YouTube searches to see what others have done.

Any threads on here, which you specifically refer to?

Interested in this too, my driver door has always needed a good slam since fitting mine well over a year ago.

Looks reasonably straightforward though in fairness. I am intrigued by your install, as might go for this in the future once sorted a few things.
'Reasonably straightforward'?!!!
In what feels at times like a single handed effort to keep the economy afloat, once @antony.charnley has perfected the art of 6.1 installs, I will ask him to do it for me!
Like my headlights and suspension I used a specialist and they are both without fault.
The thought of doing that dash on my own van fills me with dread!
(More than happy to help a midlander who could do with another pair of eyes)!

Well not exactly bought today. In April 2022 I bought some panels and a replacement T5/6 window surround from EVO MOTION DESIGN. Finally got round to fitting it and checking yesterday I realised they had sent me the wrong size, so I popped them an email and they are sending the correct size out now. Superb customer service!
