When I moved it to further from the edge it closed ok but lost most of the benefit. The passenger door closes fine and sounds really good.

I can’t believe I’m making such a meal of the most basic of mods!:x3:

the rubber I got was quite soft compared to my first attempt :thumbsup:

I tried that second time round and it definitely didn’t sound as good as the passenger door. Let’s see if this gets better over the next x weeks of lockdown. If not I’ll take it off and try it somewhere else.

As a tip...When I was trying to figure it out ...I visited my local van centre and looked at a t6 ocean to see how it fitted....you can but dream...said to wife shall we......guess what ..big fat...NO!......one day:rolleyes:
 
Yeah, not really an option now though is it! But I didn’t realise this was standard issue on the posh ones. I’ll see if I can find a video somewhere cheers
 
With all the goings on in the world today we had the pleasure of bringing this little bundle of joy into the world, this meant I could stick the new stickers on the van. It’s sometimes the small things that bring a smile to my face with this van.

I have this problem, it only annoys me when i go to start the van and i get a warning that the door isn't shut... :(

Gloss black grill WITH badge this time. Let’s see if this one lasts a full week on the van. I can’t seem to get the badge to fit on properly and so I called travelling lite who said to fit it by turning the grill upside down on a soft surface and pushing the grill onto the badge. It still doesn’t appear to be fully on though. They also said the back plate from the standard badge isn’t needed but I fitted this in the end as it helped reduce the gap behind the VW sign. I want to take it off soon the paint so not bother for now.

Also knackered another couple of the clips along the top of the grill and in the wheel arch which is annoying! If anybody knows where to source these please let me know
 
So I’m going to be on grill number 4 before long. I’m not sure the tabs holding the bumper on will take much more of this!
