What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Cheers Mac, I'll investigate tomorrow - I'm guessing it just needs a bit of gently (and careful) levering.

Mac - Didn't wait until tomorrow - the silver outer came off easily and I redid it. Much neater job in a fraction of the time. I should have asked on here first but everyday's a school day. Cheers again.

I tinted my rear windiws....for the 2nd time.
Came out pretty good this time. Also fitted some blackout curtains.......then I wet vac'd my rear seats.
Busy afternoon.

Best thing since sliced bread. Filled ours up last week (first time since October) that’s after a busy winter last year (let’s not talk about this year so far....) cost £6.35! Cheap as chips

Nice and low key, how’d it fit with the roof rails are they the Omtec ones?
Yes, they're the Omtec roof rails. The awning rail fitted neatly down the side of the roof rail base plates. I ran a length of double sided tape down both edges of the awning rail than contact the van first then it got clamped down as the roof rails are tightened back up.

It does cant the rail over by about a 1mm but you wouldn't notice it.

Been thinking of doing this myself (that and the doors). Have you had a chance to test it out, does it make much difference?

cheers

Ben

Not yet but I'll go for a spin later if I get a chance. I put a layer of sound absorbing material on top of the silent coat too so hoping it will help with the tyre hum that has got worse since I lifted it.
