What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Back to the convertor, replaced a breaker in the Consumer Unit, as battery wasn't charging from hook-up.

Double bonus on the way back, Ad-Blu and a bulb-out light.!

I have the Ad-Blu, and I think (hope) the bulb is just a loose DRL on the H7s I swapped in.

Something to do at the weekend, anyway :fast rofl:

Completed the passenger door extreme Dynamat and foam sound deadening the @Andysmee way.
So much easier not drilling rivets and easier access to the door skin.
It was all going well until one of the windows runners can off the rail, what an absolute pITA to get back on. The wires that run through the pulleys are so tight.

Got there in the end thanks to my wife holding the torch as it was now pitch black.

Slowly but surely.

Well done and well done Mrs @Texxaco for coming to the rescue!

Drove it on a 250 mile round trip and got my third EML since ownership, no doubt the annoying nox sensor issue. Will be contacting JCT600 York van centre for investigation.....hopefully it's just the software update needed.

Yay! I was wondering why people were trying to do it through a hole :)

Had a 4 wheel alignment courtesy of Tyre Medics. Happy days!

Had a Hunter Wheel Alignment this morning at Tyre Medics in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The technician doing the alignment said he’d struggled with a recent T6.... I’m assuming he meant you @CarpyT6? On my van he couldn’t adjust the right rear toe until he’d adjusted the left? Even then he ran out of adjustment on the right so couldn’t get it as good as the left? Anybody know the reason for this, or is it simply because it’s lowered and restricted because of that?

The guy told me he'd ran out of adjustment and got it the best he could but as it was green it was ok. Don't remember him saying he'd struggled but he may have done. The bloke who did mine had a big beard and tattooed hands, maybe we had different technicians.

Today the weather held off and I have finally got around to changing the god awful T6 headlight and drl bulbs, cant wait to see them at night, got a funny feeling I might need to change side lights now though lol.

Just picked mine up from Chris at The Van Cave, had it lowered with HR/Koni adjustable coil overs, gloss black grilles fitted and also THQ version 3 limited edition headlights fitted.
Throughly nice bloke, excellent job done and very reasonably price.
Highly recommended

Cheers @Paul Binding ! It was a cracking looking van already and is a credit to you, immaculate inside and out. It does of course really look and drive great with the additional changes. That chestnut brown is a stunning colour, the way it pops when the sunlight catches it is gorgeous!

Yeah we definitely had different technicians.... I know who you mean. The guy I had said “didn’t we do this van the other week?” That’s why I thought he was talking about you (similar silver van). Maybe ‘struggled’ was my word, but he definitely said they’d had the same issue with the last van and he couldn’t understand why? Anyway, as you say, if it’s in the green it’s within tolerance, so all good

It’s not unusual to run out of rear toe adjustment on these vans when they’re lowered. Your numbers look good though, despite being slightly different from side to side they are well within the range required. Good to see the “no load” settings being used too. Did you insist on that or did they already know what they were doing?

Had this delivered this morning. Yes it's a cup holder and no it wasn't the cheapest.... however...

Dave @3D Innovation was amazing. At every stage there were pictures, samples offered, various options shown in differrent light by pic and video to find the exact colour we wanted, then he went away and deisgned the logo for the front, sent us a number of designs to choose from.

Diameter was chosen to match my water bootle and mug.

A real bespoke service and a free set of coat hooks for each seat too.

In life you get what you pay for and this was worth every penny.
