I fitted the same engine cover and now can't get to the dipstick!! A bit if a silly design don't you think ?? Looks good though

I went through the nearside rubber bellows, down the side of the window and across the bottom of the window. From memory when routing it down the side of the window it can take two tracks, one which is just awkward and the other which seems impossible

Yes there are two tracks, one very close to the window which I could only get a fish wire through, it was too narrow to pass a cable.

The better route is furthest away from the glass which is where the OEM loom goes, there’s far more space to get a cable through.

Also booked in for a Planar van heater in March.
Still unable to decide on new wheels, alloys or larger banded steels think I need to wait for a big meet up with other van owners in order to decide.

Carrying on with the sound deadening today. Using the instructions for opening up the door https://www.t6forum.com/threads/gui...r-assembly-from-the-front-door-of-a-t6.22979/ put 4.5 sheets on the outer skin and the another two on the assembly carrier. And some in the pillar plastics:

I really treated my van today; I drove it forward on the driveway by about 5m. The furthest it’s been during lockdown. Had to unbind the rear brake calliper.
Only moved it as we needed to get some bits in and out of the garage, and the van was in the way.
Did think about washing it, but figured the rugby was a better call. @Tourershine eyes would literally fall out of his swede if he saw it.

Then park it up in gear or in “P” and leave the handbrake off! Rugby isn’t much so far though!!!
