Finally got round to drilling out the side bulkhead brackets today, also sorted my kenwood/connects2 loom out too

My hands were distorted for two weeks after I did my first wheel arch. Wore gloves for the second.

Gave her a well deserved clean, a week of motorway crap but always puts a smile on my face when she’s clean! A few more weeks and I can get rid of these wheels and put the Banded Steels back on!

I fitted Osram night breaker H7 bulbs today and then gave the van a good wash down.

Nope. Wash it with roof down, then pop it up so the water drains and I can wipe down the roof of the van that’s normally under the pop top roof seals.

Also hoovering and cleaning the inside, which is easier with the top up.

Haha… well spotted!! The seat shelf is in active use. The bench seat is planned for my son’s bedroom after we switch him to a bigger bed.

Fitted the heated washers I purchased off @Texxaco, they were an easy install using the guide of the same thread, also fitted some new Bosch wipers as the old ones were missing some of the screen, all good now and again many thanks Pete .

Finally got around to changing my 'candles' for LED from TransporterHQ in the main lights and fog lights in time for my trip to Scotland tomorrow for work.

My only observation so far is that my headlight switch has always been set to 'auto' and my main beam (not full) lights used to be on along with my running lights. Now they are not on (nor can i set the high beam on from the indicator arm (I can flash) unless I turn the switch to the far right?
Has anyone else noticed this?

Wait, WHAT!? you can just unclip the bumper to remove lights? you dont have to undo the bolts underneath?!

That is correct, I heard vw do it a lot.

Unsure hence the have heard haha, I couldn't be bothered trying to find out when I changed my h4s to h7s so took the whole bumper off. Only took me 1 hour 30 to do the whole lot (plus faffing).
