Murphy’s Law!I took the black ones off and I’m putting chrome ones on ha ha
I had round stainless on - these are neater and seem to have fewer places to catch crud@JOG Thanks, thinking of swapping my from round to angled.
Clever!Fitted an awning rail today! Obviously being me got one for £16 bent it and fitted to the roof rail! Loads more work but but very cheap and no holes in the van! View attachment 160599View attachment 160600
Awesome idea. That will keep the awning away from the paintwork as well. Damn you thats going to cost me a pair of rails now and possible a new awning rail.Fitted an awning rail today! Surely the wind and rain can get in under the rail like this????Fitted an awning rail today! Obviously being me got one for £16 bent it and fitted to the roof rail! Loads more work but but very cheap and no holes in the van! View attachment 160599View attachment 160600
Wind yes, but can't see it being to much of an issue. Rain not unless it rains parallel to the ground, Its only a small gap and any water that gets in will run down the chanel!Surely the wind and rain can get in under the rail like this????
What about using the rails as intended to fix parallel bars so you can carry stuff up top? Assume the clamps now won’t fit on the side that has the awning railWind yes, but can't see it being to much of an issue. I'm hoping that's not a euphemism!
Well Steve does give you an offer you can't refuse. I know others have said the same but it was like a different van coming back. Acceleration, braking, speed bumps, potholes. All improved.I'm hoping that's not a euphemism!
