What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Nearly done with one of my overhead cabinets.

Just need to decide where to put my Victron display, I've got a few options...

Hmmm.
The 2nd position was my original thought. It's nice and out the way, no cables visible.

To give you an idea of the space up there, that's a large saucepan, and a Vango sizzle single induction hob in there.

In my old T6 I had the Ovano rear seat base cover with USBs.

Disappointed with the brightness of the T6.1 rear step lights I wanted to try something a little different. Also whilst I was at it, I rewired the step lights off the rear lights so I can switch them off at the same time as the rear lights. I have fitted the small 300W converter under the passengers seat and controlled via a switch so it won’t run the starter battery. I have a Jackery for anything more than a laptop charger so not looking to fit a leisure battery:

Nice! Just a tip, you'll probably want to fit a dimmer switch, unless you want to be blinded from below! LED's at night on full power are just too bright.

I realise that now having been out there in the dark. To be fair with my 6 Roof lights it’s bright which ever way you look. I need more light in the foot wells now, watch this space…

Fitted the superb @Nutexa Frictions 6 Pot setup complete with 370mm 2piece discs and braided lines. Replaced rear pads whilst I was at it as the ones that where is gave of more dust than a Dyson with a blown seal.

Epic bit of kit! Massive thanks to Alan @Distinctive Dubs for the custom colour coding in VW Energetic Orange... Man's an artist
