What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Bit of a random one I've been meaning to do for a while.

I've got 2 Jackerys in the van. One I use for 240 as I don't have an inverter and only run a 105ah battery. This hooks up to a wired in extension lead for the kettle, toster, air fryer etc. And the 2nd is a smaller one for a starlink mini (I use the van as a remote office down the beach/forest park up but that's a different story).

Made a little slide out so I can move the bigger one without having to play silly buggers with the rock and roll bed.

I was worried it would slide on heavy breaking but I've added 2 catches now and with the bed board in place we are solid. I might add an extra safety strap just for final peace of mind.

Nothing special but always fun to tick off an annoyance.

@soldas. Body match gets my vote as well BUT how good is the colour match? I ask as I can't really tell from the picture whether the badge is flat, gloss or metallic. It does however look like an Acapulco Blue van and as a fellow member of Team AB, I'd be quite interested in trying this myself. Did you use vynil sticky plastic or paint?

Fitted some PPF to the pop top for under the flexible solar panel and also fitted the cable entry glad (Scanstrut). Thankfully the drilling through the pop top went fine and is in the right place - phew! Plugged the panel in to test and was getting just over 200w (250w panel) in the sun with the panel just laying on the roof. Very happy with that. Now trying to decide what to use to mount the panel - one of the various types of VHB tape or Sikaflex.

What did you end up using to stick the panel to the PPF please?

Forge Induction Kit & LV Honeycomb Rear Bumper Protector fitted. Too dark for pictures by the time I’d finished but will stick some up tomorrow

** Edit **

Pictures as promised.

Let is know how you get on with the induction kit.
I made my own last year and had to take it off. The noise wasn't the best. It was constantly sucking in air, but not in a nice way! Hopefully the forge one is designed better than my homebrew one!

Haha fair play though! I’ve not gone far in it yet, only to park up properly. So can’t say too much, but from a few dips of the throttle it sounded pretty subtle - which it was I was after. Will let you know tomorrow how I get on with it
