Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

The wife is taking three friends out to an outdoor theatre production using our Cali beforehand to host a mini Birthday party. She's cooked loads of nice food, decorated the van and generally made a massive effort (she's also picking up and dropping off all the friends).

I'm looking after the kids; currently cooking fresh pizzas (making the dough, etc).

Fingers crossed all goes well!!

Slightly off topic but how do you make your dough @Polzeylad??? I bought a pizza oven over summer but haven't got a tried and tested simple dough recipe!!!!

I cheated in the end and used our bread maker but often make it by hand.
The flour is critical; as fine as possible. A teaspoon of salt, a tablespoon of olive oil and less water than you'd think.

Don't forget good pizziola sauce too not just tomatoes; brown garlic in hot olive oil (add when oil is still cold), oregano, chuck a tin of chopped toms in, stand back as it spits at you, stir on a high heat until "glossy" for 5-10 mins, chuck in a blender, give is a blast. Makes a big difference!

Did mine too but not to that level @HHO !
Ours survived last nights mission but the wifes version of looking after the Cali is slightly less than mine - full floor and plastics clean, a good blast off of thick mud, a clean and polish. Cleaned up pretty well luckily.

Took mine to show off to my dad for the first time today; I was there for half an hour before his partner turned up and half hour later my sister turned up (each insisted on having "the complete tour") - its like having a new baby in the family lol

Taking mine to Coastguard training today near Bude. Will try and get some pics of us crazy "blue boiler suit" guys with the van if I get the chance.

Watch out, they will have you providing refreshments all day, oh and be careful on those cliffs.

B&Q for skirting board for my sons new house, guess what I'm doing next week??

Drove from Noirmoutier en l'ile to Guildford. Only an hours delay at the tunnel which was a nice surprise then a short hour to Surrey. Lost two hours in all today with the clocks going back so not sure if I am knackered or elated at the way the T6 handled the French motorways; an absolute joy to drive despite the 28 miles to the gallon over 11 hours. So pleased I finally bit the bullet!

Big drive! I went to school in Guildford (RGS) before moving to Cornwall.
