Mrs CAB's birthday, so out early for a van breakfast, opening pressies, a bracing walk on Stanage Edge, then lunch, coffee, and watching all the awful parking maneuvers.

A comment like that would result in one internationally recognised clear and obvious signal at me from SWMBO

Ah, lockdown or not, I was surprised to hear it was empty!
 
@JOG So many ;) Just wished I brought some bacon and more eggs, could have cashed in on the day with all the passers by!!!! Keeping the slidepod in the rear now over the winter....it was just so easy to pack a small amount of food and scoot off.....makes having a walk a delight to come back to the van.
 
Makes you laugh when your out, when we was allowed out we went to the coast a lot and had so many people moaning about not being able to have a cup of tea, there’s me contemplating flogging teas out of the van the misses said I should have offered out of goodness of my heart, clearly she’d gone a bit crazy being stuck in

We have a Cali and I so understand what you mean. I should feel bad but I do chuckle inside. The kids love it - it’s all part of the experience for them. I vividly remember, a couple of years ago, taking my then 6-year old to collect a table I’d bought on eBay. On the journey home, I pulled into a services and gave him a choice of McDonald’s or “a cuppa and a sandwich in the van”. For him to choose the cuppa over McDonald’s spoke volumes for me! I just love the versatility the vans give us!
