Cannot get over the number of Transporters everywhere. Lots of T4s which is great to see!

Nice long walk from Kirknewton to Lanton over the River Glen, hills in this part of North Northumberland are spectacular this time of year.
Whilst crossing a field on our way back noticed a little calf lying down ahead away from the main herd... mother cow spotted us approaching it and came thundering towards us causing me, swmbo and the dog to give it big legs ! We went for a nearby fence line but said cow was gaining quick. There was nothing for it, so left SWMBO behind, picked up the dog and legged it quicker. Fortunately cow stopped with its calf. SWMBO not impressed with my choice of priorities!!

You’re very lucky, people get killed by cattle trying to shelter their dogs, best to get the dog to run away by itself.

Drive further south into Cornwall, swear every other vehicle is a transporter. Nobody waves as your arm would be falling off!

Meet up with family so built a camp to keep the kids out.

We went West very West to Pembrookshire to the best campsite we have been to possible ever!

DragonFly Woodland camping. 12 pitches all very spacious and VERY private.


Kids loved it, nice and safe, they made friends and it was close to beaches etc.

Mainly using my white and blue van to block roads to stop people hitting idiotic, and drunk drivers this evening. This one was the idiot, tried a three point turn...didn't see massive ditch

In addition to my last post, just emptied the van after getting home and I nearly cried! Cola spilt on the reimo seat bed and what looks like an entire tube of Pringles crunched up and liberally spread over the back of the van. Well, I know what I’m doing tomorrow!

I feel your pain...with a 8 and 10 year old it's easier if you force one of them in the front seat and i mean FORCE!
