Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

We’re heading to Annecy in August, which site are you on?…any good?
We are at Le Panoramic. It’s a bit more away from the crowds as it’s also a bank holiday weekend in France. Most of the others closer to the lake are full. We managed to get a decent pitch without advance booking. The facilities are modern which is always a bonus in France.

@MrD. Nice one. Is that a Loc8 table and, if so, how do you find it? My wife thinks they're worth it but I'm too tight whilst our current table has got life in it!

It is , it’s useful and easily stored in its pod bit too big inside the van for general use ok for a meal ideal for Cadac etc cooking , is it worth the price I would say so but it came with the van package so I indirectly paid for it . Legs can be a bit fiddly and the feet at the bottom are adjustable but really not game changing.

So we leave Finale Ligure tomorrow, and head for Avignon in France.
This campsite is brilliant. It's called Camping Tahiti, and is close the centre of the town, and the beach.
It is rammed with mountain bikers, and now we know why - it's one of the top mountain bike centres in the world.
So many nationalities here, all having a good time in great weather.
Anyway, back to France tomorrow, and hopefully continued good weather.

So 2 nights at Avignon, and yesterday we moved up to Bourges. Bit of sightseeing and food and drink here, then up to the North coast somewhere ready for the ferry on Monday.

Working in the Yorkshire Dales again tomorrow. My self and a colleague are running a double drive day in a couple of Ferraris. Slumming it for the night at Wharfedale CAMC site for the night. Would be a 1.45hr drive in the morning otherwise. :D

The reason for the night there was this for the following day. Nice day for a drive in the Portofino with the lid down. Shame I was only the passenger though.

What site were you on in Avignon? We are staying 5 nights in Avignon in August.

This one:

Was busy even in May. Has a pool and a little shop and bar.
Facilities are a little ancient but work.
You can book it through PitchUp.
