Ferry Newhaven to Dieppe then a leisurely drive down through France.
Had planned to spend a couple of days in France on our way to Spain, but weather is really grim, so going to south east Spain via San Sebastián, Pamplona and Zaragoza.
Just stopped at a little aire for the night in Pont de Ruan just south of Tours, Franceland.

I like Zaragoza, occasionally go there for work. I can recommend Terraza Libertad.

Thanks, the rears are designed to protrude, sadly as a newbie one has a severe dent! Looking to get it repaired but off to tour Ireland at Easter and heard roads are bad, might wait.

Good use of a bottle jack, rather than the death trap scissor jack that Vw offer.
I'd also recommend these to help...

Get a cheap set of Devonports and put them on for your travels. Bling wheels are for looking good when you go to Aldi.
