Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Hope you took your levelling ramps. Last time we went there we were in a tent and we could have done with some for that!!!
Found quite a level pitch, didn’t slide out of bed last night, so it must be flat!

Can I ask where you got that rear table attached to the van?
It’s one of the cranked table legs with the bracket fitted to the side of the van just inside the tailgate. We have a bracket just inside the sliding door too (which is the more common location). I just bought an extra bracket with the kit so you can use it in both locations.
The only downside is that the table doesn’t rotate at the end of the arm.
Use it at the rear much more than the side though.

we were just in Bowness on Windermere a week ago. It was chilly but there was nothing like that around!

to be fair there was nothing like that there when we arrived (about4/5pm on Friday) :D
-the tops were white but nothing at the campsite. popped out for a toilet at about 7 and snow everywhere!

made for great fun on Saturdays run though!!

Sunday we travelled to the historic market and cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. We were too late for a wine tasting session and forwent a classical concert. Rather we stopped out for a nice Indian meal. Monday morning we had a look round and a couple of good coffees.

The important information - parking was in the Ram Meadow Car Park where overnight campervan parking is formally allowed at £1 for the night. Additionally a full daytime is just £3. The only facility offered other than five dedicated large spaces which we didn't need is a nearby public toilet. Clean and open early but it does close overnight.
