Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Driving home from music festival the outside temperature was between 40 degrees and 44 degrees Celsius.
The van coped very well.
Oil temperature was between 102 degrees and 118 degrees depending if I was climbing hills or flatter roads.
Aircon inside was fine and when you stepped outside it was like a pizza oven .
So all in all VW make vans that can cope with extremes. Cold or hot.Resized_20240311_135656.jpeg

Interesting that that the oil temp gauge just shows 90 but the digital temp is different?

Or have I misunderstood what the gauge is???

PS and wow!
I don’t think I’d dare leave an air-conned house in those temps!

Lucky enough to be close to Shenstone tyres, they come to me to tell me I've cracked another rim! Fabulous set up in fairness! Wouldn't go anywhere else. 4 new Pirellis on the wife's Evoque last week, I'm OK, she paid!

Currently on a small site a couple of miles outside Granada. Blazing sun with snow on the mountains. Been here since yesterday morning.
So a chilled out brunch before we head back into the city for afternoon/evening and some food and drink.

Need to get mine booked in, MOT expires in 5 weeks time. I've just checked the mileages and it's done 2500 miles in the last year

Oh and I bought it in July, and I've done 1200 miles of those 2500... :D

So, not many places! That'll hopefully change this summer once I've got the interior ready to camp in.

Had the afternoon and evening in Antequera. Staying on an auto caravan parking area 5 minute walk from the centre. Free but no services.
No pic of van because it’s just a dirty mess.IMG_6050.jpeg
Antequera is a lovely place. 32 churches and a fort on the hill. And over 100 bars apparently.
Highly recommend it if travelling through Spain.
