Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Just spent 3 nights at Nicholaston Farm in The Gower.
Really nice site, exceptionally clean facilities, lovely area and plenty of walks straight from site. 10min down to the beach.
1st pic is taken from Cefn Bryn above the site on The Gower Way. Our poptop and awning is just visible in the centre bottom of the pic.
The rest are from around the Bay.
There is also a wooded area that you can walk around which leads down to a nature reserve.

I love how they discriminate against non-VW campers...

[from their website]
VW Campervans “T” Series are primarily catered for on our pitches with electric hook-up on our Shop & Woodpath fields providing they have a height of 2.3 metres or less, not including a pop-top roof. If your campervan is higher than this, or is a different make or model of campervan, then you should book as a Motorhome on our Caravan Field.

They let the standards down and allowed a Ford in, whilst we were there :D

Moving day.

Niss Community Leisure Centre, showers, loos, elsan and water. An excellent facility, closed on Sundays. All the community centres seem to offer services for campervans.

Then to Tolsta via the excellent Stornoway Co-op. Pic taken on the Road to Nowhere, just after the Bridge to Nowhere.

Finally, Eilean Fraoich Camp Site. Busy but a nice cosy feel, pitches all around the owner's house!
