Which? Aftermarket Headlight choices

I've just ordered a set from there too. I went for the black V1s with LED dipped bulbs as I think they look the most like OEM ones.

They’re ok to fit. Meant taking the front bumper off so that takes time. Other than that, just remove old ones and plug in the new ones then put front end back on.

That’s a cracking vid, just need help when removing it so I don’t drop the bumper lol so you purchased from hq or trav

Travelin Lite.

Give them a call and chat about discount. You ought to get a bit knocked off. You don't get the opportunity to have a haggle with web orders.

Hi. Just after some info/advice please. Looking to change out my H4 headlight units and wasn’t sure on which to buy. Seems that Travelin Lite and Transporter HQ are similar. What do people go for out these two please. Pros and cons. Thanks

I’m under the impression that they both use the same manufacturer (but I haven’t paid much attention to the aftermarket H7’s so could be wrong).
What I do know, after visiting Travelin-Lite today, is that they reckon their H7’s with the integrated DRL and indicator will be in stock within a month.

Thanks for the reply. Very similar but on price.

Any recommendations to either upgrade the headlight bulb or best upgrade for the complete light unit itseems a minefield.

Presuming that you have standard H4 lights, the first upgrade from them would be Caravelle H7 headlights. They have a separate dipped and main beam lamp, but will need a simple coding change to get dipped beam to stay on with main beam.

From there, a popular upgrade is the projector headlights with LED DRLs sold by the likes of Transporter HQ and Travlin Lite. These look similar to OEM LED headlights. They are still halogen, but some people choose to fit LED bulbs in the dipped beam projector light. Again with these lights you'll need the coding change.

It had different lights from standard fitted I’ll get pics but the are not good in the dipped beam I’ll check the bulbs what bulbs are recommended and who can do the coding.

You have the aftermarket headlamps. A set of LED bulbs in the dipped beam should sort it out, you have projector lenses so you should get a good pattern and cut off.

Can you recommend a make of bulb which would help and where to get them from.

H7 LED Headlight Bulbs for Cars

I've only got a pair of DRL led bulbs for my H4 headlights from this bunch but the bulbs haven't thrown up any lamp out sign on the dash and are a crisp white colour compared to the standard yellowish tungsten lamps.

Not sure if you have your dipped beam set correctly though from your post and if you search through a few more threads in this section you should find ones commenting on having to raise the aim before relying on the headlight motors being able to then fine tune further and get just below dazzling other motorists.
