No worries, yes I've got a lot of valuable information from people on here already. We have removed several air installations only . . they are very complex and time consuming to fit . The fitting of the shocks and bags is straight forward in fact the same as fitting a normal Coil over kit , BUT the feeding of all the pipes and cables , mounting the height sensors and Air tank all take a lot of time .
Are you considering buying one ? , If so the Shock that is fitted to the kit is vitally important because like a conventional suspension the shock is still the important bit .
The drop while driving is approx 20 mm and of course the static drop can be ridiculous ( but only stationary ) the controller will automatically lift the car to 20 mm when driving at speed . , The self leveling is a great feature for camp sights and in my mind this is the only reason to buy an air kit .
I would suggest reaching out to the owners who have it ( even if they have removed it ) get some first hand impressions . I was half way through developing an Air kit but sadly when i researched it i decided it wasnt viable .

It it is my pleasure, I follow certain sections of the forum closely and yours in particular. I promise that I am not a stalker! I have used KONI for many years, I know the value of them and because you use them, that was of interest to me. Then one develops a sense. I know that some of the AB agents have very good reputation but I felt that it would be an excellent idea if you at CRS were also an agent. Someone with an already very good reputation who attends to detail and for me someone who also represented KONI, two birds, one stone so to speak. I do not throw stones at birds by the way. You also now our vehicles and are on here. I understand that you are from South Africa and that KONI are Dutch and that I think AB might be Dutch also. You have experience in the bush off road and have raced cars and on your web site I have seen an image of a Defender. So all good.HI There , thanks for that info
Ill contact VB air i know they are quite professional and it will be an added service for us to consider
Thanks also for the vote of confidence , I am sure we could be an asset to the suppliers of V B Air
sadly i dont know what shocks they use in their kits but ill make contact and find out

Thank you steve for keeping me in the loop. You never know, perhaps you will supply them all with dampers. Top adjustable would do me fine. It is a pain if they need collapsing to adjust the damping. It is tolerable, just about on the rear just take one end off collapse turn back to zero turn to the new setting in half turns. The front however not a very fast job to self adjust. Well not for me any way it would never get done I would have to come back, but just turning a wheel under the scuttle, very nice. They do the kits with a choice of high or low. Not a massive amount in it, a bit like comparing a Caravel exec to a standard transporter I should think, about 20mm or so. That is every level is higher in one kit than an other. Mine is an Exec 4Motion but I would be looking for the higher height range selection with all the trimmings, levelling etc because I do off road stuff. Any way early days, early days, Rome was not built in a day so I was told. this virus thing is not going away very soon. Sorry for waking you up.Hi there , Just got off the phone with VB let the games begin . They couldnt confirm that the Transporter kit has KONI shocks but they will find out
Who knows maybe i need to get KONI shocks made on my Dealer account at KONI and put the VB air kit with KONI dampers specially designed . Nice exclusive offering
Thanks anyway for waking me up ha ha

Hi there , we do try to contact all the back order customers as soon as stock arrives , I will e mail , text or use what ever method used for the initial contact . If i dont get a responce back with in a week i would consider that the client had made other arrangements . However sincere apologies that we havent hooked up and i cant explain why . The parts are back in stock and it did take a long time For the factory to get on top of the demand we placed on themThis thread seems to have come back to life since I last looked in September. I'd assumed it had stopped @CRS after I'd spoken to them twice over the summer whilst Koni dampers were out of stock. Left my details twice and never heard a thing back.
Can I ask what side bars these are please?I had my Koni's Shocks + 50mm H&R Sport Springs + 20mm / 25mm H&R Hubcentric Spacers fitted today. All kit supplied by Steve @CRS Performance. The install was undertaken by a local garage who found the install relatively easy.
I'm incredibly pleased with the outcome . I now have a firm, car like pliant ride. No longer do I dread tight corners, roundabouts etc. I'm glad I opted for Sports Shocks, and not springs alone (based on various sourced of feedback in here). The van is particularly composed at higher speeds and I can actually enjoy the twisties. Diving under breaking has also banished. I also notice a significant decrease in road noise. I was originally going to go with a 40mm drop as I'm more interested in handling rather than stance. I own a T32 so Steve @ CRS advised that 50mm would be prime given the higher load capacity / heavier van. He was spot on ...
The spacers have allowed an OEM look with the Devonports but equally filled out the arches and given her a beefier' stance. Some before and after pics....

Contemplating 19's or 20's down then line but slightly weary that they may comprise the current, excellent ride quality. Shall run with the spacers for a solid test period first.
Thanks to the many T6 forum contributors for their sharing and inspiration
