ERROR CODE P040D00

After some advice, I had my engine management light come on on my 2016 T6 with code P040D00.
This came up multiple issue.

*The wiring harness or sensor may have caught fire.
*Temperature of recirculated exhaust gas harness for sensor ‘A’ may be open or shorted.
*A faulty electrical connection in the exhaust gas recirculation temperature is possible.
*Imperfections in the connector
*The exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensor can have defects.
*The EGR temperature sensor gasket has a leak.
*The sensor is mounted on an exhaust pipe that is cracked or leaking.
*Engine control module may have problems.
*Temperature sensor ‘A’ for exhaust gas recirculation exhibits anomalies.

Has anyone else had this code come up and managed to resolve this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to check the wiring of the plug going into EGR temperature sensor.
Didn't you say which engine you have? (post up a picture of the build label from the trim under the steering column.)
