That´s excellent news
Did you managed to find the access code for you T6 MY19 Adapter 18 that allows to store changes? Have the same issue: 20103 accepted, but changes are not possible.PS 2. Does anyone know access code for adaptations? The controller accepts code 20103 but it still doesn't allow me to tweak adaptation channels. Not that there is any need to change anything, just don't like the idea not having all the controls .

(Surfing already for good several weeks. Nothing..)
The VCDS reports "invalid message length" and thus adaptations are rejected. There seems to be a mismatch in communication protocol. Ross-Tech is aware of the issue and the root cause so would expect to see it fixed eventually. Details --> VW Transporter T6, Address 18 Aux.Heat --- Adaptation FAIL
However OBDeleven handles this just fine (verified with version 0.11.2, the current as today) .
80782 worked well with my Multivan T6 MY19. Thanks a lot for this tip. Was desperate to find it!
Hello, can you tell me, please, how you wired the overhead control panel? Is there any chance some one can send me the coding for the overhead control panel, I have the water heater fitted as standard, but have only just fitted the overhead unit, but I can't seem to figure out how its coded, it thinks its an 'Air heater' controller?
Any help would be appreciated
It's the unit J702 in chapter 63 >here<. Just convenience CAN bus and power. Depending on your vehicle (T5.1) the bus can be found e.g. next to the heater, connector T8aj (probably page 89/3 for your van). (Different on T6). EDIT: Clarified T5.1/T6.Hello, can you tell me, please, how you wired the overhead control panel?
Thanks a lot

Do you mean automatic start when engine is running? The coding 4000 indeed turns off heater's automatic starting. Coding 4001 would enable it.Webasto stopped turning on at temperatures below + 4C
The coding shouldn't affect the timer. However, most likely the fault "0376 - no basic setting" is preventing the heater to start. Have you done any coding or adaptations? Cleared the adaptations?I also cannot turn it on using the ceiling timer.
From the factory there was a coding: 4400, the valve turned off a long time ago, it became 4000. I cleared the errors, they appear again. I didn't do any coding or adaptations. If you need to make adaptations, which ones? I will do a full auto scan tomorrow. Do I need to do this action? Then you could try the following to see if the heater clears the fault:
VCDS - 18-Auxiliary/Parking heater - Basic settings - Heater operation for production
Thanks. Just curious what possibly has caused the fault - so good to know you didn't "touch" anything. From the factory there was a coding: 4400, the valve turned off a long time ago, it became 4000. VCDS - 18-Auxiliary / Parking heater - Basic settings - Heater operation for productionThe "VCDS - 18-Auxiliary / Parking heater - Basic settings - Heater operation for production" has been used to successfully clear the fault, so worth to try. See --> Aux heater retrofit, coding side
What's this? How did you do this? A Webasto-tool?Webasto launched via w-bus. Status: ok
That's good!Webasto now starts with a ceiling timer.
Do you mean that when engine is started then the heater does not start (always) automatically below +5C?And as a pre-heater does not turn on at a temperature of -4C.
Long ago I bought a homemade module that can launch Webasto via w-bus with a button. Fully equipped with a GSM module, received a remote start. What's this? How did you do this? A Webasto-tool?
Yesterday morning -1C Webasto did not turn on. I drove 5 km and turned off the engine, after 10 minutes I started. Webasto did not turn on. After 15 minutes, the temperature began to rise sharply. Webasto turned on. Today -7C Webasto switched on normally. I left the code as it was from the factory 4000. Thanks for the help.True, your current coding (4000) inhibits that. To enable heater automatic start/stop by outdoor temperature (below +5C) you need to tick the following (byte 1, bit 0 => 1)

Ok. Thanks.Long ago I bought a homemade module that can launch Webasto via w-bus with a button. Fully equipped with a GSM module, received a remote start.
Most likely Webasto turned on because Climatic/Climatronic A/C system requested auxiliary heater to turn on. It's allowed in your adaptations:I started. Webasto did not turn on. After 15 minutes, the temperature began to rise sharply. Webasto turned on.
-> Coding 4001 -> Webasto always turns on when engine is started below +5C (as defined in your adaptations):enable byte 1, bit 0 => 1 what will give me?
