Lazer Lamps

@T6ARF what I have learned is that there are lots of different ways in which they can be wired and depending on what wiring kit is purchased. I for example have never seen anyone with them wired up to switch from white to amber/yellow but know that is possible....mine used to be on all the time then for some reason reverted back to side lights, head lights then full beam. I liked when they were on with the DRLs
I am just about to fit my Lazer Lamps to my t5.1. I have extended the wiring so i can have white/off/yellow position lights controlled from a dash switch, and an on/off isolation switch for the main beam.

Questions, can i wire the position lights to DLR’s and/or sidelights?

Where best to pick up the feeds for main beam and the DLR and/or sidelights?

Options are down by the NS headlight, fusebox under the ashtray or somewhere else?

Any help would be appreciated

Update, fitted them. I picked up the feed from the DLR for the position lights and the main beam from the ns light connection. Switches on the dash for the yellow/off/white positions lights and on/off for the main beam. All working well

More questions:

Any tips for setting up the angles?
Where did you all put your relay? So far its in front of the battery, I might try and fit it behind at some point

I have done this. Switchable yellow/off/white on DLR’s and on/off main beam. Quite a pita to install.

Amazing though @FerrisBFW I've seen people on here with the yellow lenses but not yellow light function! Def not a job I'd be tackling myself. You'll need to post some pics! Are you impressed with the light output! I had an H7 bulb out... Was pleased I had lazers on!

Only just fitted them Monday. They are on the p155 a bit so i need to try adjusting the angles and see if i can get them straight (level).

To make the position lights switchable i changed the three pin plugs on the lights for four pins - attached picture. Ran a same core 4th wire back the the relay inside the protective sheath, joined the pair of extra cables and then ran the two wires (yellow and white for both lights) into the cab with the DLR feed and hay presto, on a three way switch, i can chose.

Tbh its a gimmick and i dont think i will use it much. I did it as a project. Wiring needs more tidying but its there.

Hi Rick
Would it be possible you can send me a pic of them on at night on a straight road and also without them on if possible?
Thinking of taking the plunge in a set

Dave, just get them. Even if you currently have LED headlights, adding Lazers is like turning on the sun.

15 minutes from mine. Didn't know anything was going on.

It was organised a while back on the Grand BreweryTour FB site a few weeks ago. Its my first one with them, so Im looking forward to it.

And there’s this:

Im driving up to the Leicester area early tomorrow morning, meeting up with some good friends of mine, then over to the Brewery, for 14:00 I think...

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I haven't got any pics yet, but like dubber36 said, it's like turning on the sun. For anyone who travels regularly along the M50 late at night they will know what I mean.
I noticed a couple of new converted vans at the last Motorhome show at the NEC with them fitted.

In hindsight I never touch the switches, they have been moved into the glove compartment now, never to be seen again :) Dont fret, pick yellow and wire them in

The wiring kit came separately from the Lamps, I’m not savvy on the wiring, let alone on a T6.1,,,, all I know is that it’s different if you have LED headlights already fitted. The Lazer spotlights work of the full beam options on my Van, however when ignition is on, they “glow“,,, with the side lights on, if you know what I mean?
As for the Amber option, I’m not aware that this is an alternative function on the basic Tripple-R 750’s,,, maybe the Elite lamps can, but I don’t know.
Like I said earlier, Lazerlamps actually fitted them, so they know what their doing. I’m very happy with the Lamps too.
Check Lazerlamps web site out,,, I found them very helpful.
That answers my question. I fitted mine to the grill this afternoon which Im comfortable with. I just need them to do the wiring part for me. That part I have no interest in touching as I don't know what Im doing at all! lol I have sent them an email asking if they install so fingers crossed they will get back to me soon.

Could anyone tell me the wires you need to splice to on the n/s headlight on a t6 h4 vehicle. I would like the main beam and side lights please.

Hello all!
I’ve just got myself a 6.1 and have upgraded the front and installed triple R 750 laser lamps.
Before I cut any wires I was wander if anyone knows what wires to splice into…
I found 12v at pin 8 (white wire for main beam) but nothing seems to happen???
I’ve also found several others showing 11-14 v current but can’t determine which is the drl’s??
Need to add due to the lack of space on the nsf I’ve ran the purple and green wire to the drivers side…
Any help very much appreciated!
Thanks!
