No cheap Ducati's anywhere mate lol. I have a 1200 DVT Multi at the mo but have had the 916, 1098, 1199 Tricolore

I'd be sooooo tempted to have the Duke wheels polished on the spokes, and the outer rim painted White

I do really like the styling on the new Multi. The guy who owns the bodyshop has just swapped his KTM for one, and he keeps telling me to take it out for a couple of hours, but I have to resist or I will ride it straight to the new Ducati showroom on the A1 near Peterborough and end up buying one. My biking days are over for now due to far too many other things that keep me in my garage or away from the house, but I do pine for 2 wheels again. :(

Go for it, its a cracking bike except for its fork seas but I may just have a rogue fork. Off to the dealers for its 3rd one in 6 months, so asked them to check the fork stanchion incase its damaged. Great bike when its going though.

Wheels staying standard as did a paint job on my last one and ti wouldn't sell, the dealer I px it at had to put the wheels back to black after a year on the shop floor. They then sold it within a week.

I have my chosen 18 plate to go on my forthcoming campervan. Nothing special, except that it amused me VA18MOS. The supplier/ converter wants to put the 'standard' plate on and then I change it when I take ownership. It seems from the above thread that the change when made on line is quick and insurance change may be cost free too.

Should I be pressing the supplier to put my plate on at the start? If they don't, when it comes to all the VW on-line vehicle stuff should this all be left in the original registration or should I change this to match my displayed registration?
I had my standard plate fitted when I picked my van up then changed it a couple of weeks later. I was advised to do that just so that VW did not register it so had to stay with the van.

Decisions decisions. I can get my initial then surname followed by either VW Or MR. I'm always going to be Mr but might not always have a vw. But mr looks a bit silly I think?

We have had V dubs since 1971 still got two so I was a safe bet for me to have VW in my number.

Just a reminder to anyone who has changed their number plate:

Don't forget to inform your insurance company (like I did), otherwise you'll get a nice letter from the DVLA, saying that according to their records you are not, insured..

All done now - minus a small admin fee.

So you've gone from T6 FEK, to T6 FKR? Your neighbours must think you're either a porn star or your wife isn't your biggest fan
Saw the lovely Red & White FKR in sunny Coventry Walsgrave Triangle this morning. As in company car thought inappropriate to wave
