Does anyone’s wife look through your posts and contributions with almost an accusatory attitude as if it was a porn site or a dating site and you might have been doing something naughty?

Not so much now - - but I do remember when we first got together a (very) long time ago, I used to set up the PVR to record shows - and one day she came to me with described "accusatory attitude", saying "So what is this 'Peep Show' programme your are recording huh!?"

oh how we laughed..... :-|

Well my new plate T6 FEK is up for sale. After £250 for it as I will have to pay £80 to put it on retention. Only reason is my lovely wife has bought T6 FKR for me, shame she didn't do or say that a week ago lol. It will come with a pair of pressed metal plates and the retention document when it turns up. Cheers Jim

So you've gone from T6 FEK, to T6 FKR? Your neighbours must think you're either a porn star or your wife isn't your biggest fan

Lol, I did ask her why she didn’t think the FKR plate was ok first time round, could have saved some money but got a typical answer... “I was in a bad mood” when I asked her why? because I wouldn’t empty the food waste bin as it was pishing down! Go figure eh

One of our managers cars has M.......FkR. it's not a private plate but made me laugh

Hi all,
just signed up. Will be reading for hours.

I have T6 VWX on retention if you are interested.

I normally get It put on a standard reg so all the paperwork and services book is on that reg so when you sell it goes back to that plate. Then change the plate after but you will need to phone the insurance company and they could charge to change it and if on finance you need to tell them and they can charge . You can keep the plates it comes on then put them back when you sell it so the will have the dealers name on them keeping it all looking good .
This is what I have done this time round but always had my private reg on from new on every other new VW and when you come to swap, you just have to make sure you out the private reg on retention and wait for the log book to come in the DVLA alocated reg number. They used to charge you per year that the reg was on retention but now you pay one off fee and reg is yours to keep on retention as long as you want. £90 every time I change cars though lol! Just as well I am keeping the T6!
