T6.1 Digital / Virtual Dash retrofit

We do so like the Digital Dash in our Tiguan that the time has come to update our van. There are several folk doing this but so far I haven't found anyone in Scotland so it would be a 3 day trip and a couple of nights away on top of the cost. Otherwise they are all charging a similar rate.

The van spec is fie, it's a 2023 Beach with Discovery Media so it's just parts and coding. I could tackle it myself and I have OBDeleven.

Has anyone done it themselves, including changing the trim parts.
Is there a thread, do you have any pics or tips?
Is there a parts list and how much were the parts from TPS presumably?

You'll need ODIS as it's the component protection master unit and only ODIS can do this

Can someone help me, I recently bought a digital dashboard for a VW T6.1 on eBay. I found instructions online for connecting the can high and can low. Could you please tell me where the main unit is and what it looks like?

Hi Gregor, as has been said before Virtual Dash needs coding with ODIS and only VWAG authorised workshops can have ODIS.

Yes, I know that, but before I go to the VW service, I have to connect the digital dashboard with the main unit, and my question was how does the main unit look and if anyone has a photo of the main unit.
