To the OP’s question: it’s impossible to know but I have to say I felt that owning a T6 knowing it was the last gen made by VW means I’m going to keep hold of it. I was waiting for an electric camper second hand in a good few years but if they’re not going to be a thoroughbred Transporter, I'm less bothered and am currently looking at supplementing the T6 with a small electric car. One vehicle for clean short journeys, another for long distance breaks.
