T6 virtual cluster from aliexpress

I think they look great and are right down my street but I’d be worried about a couple of things.
First I would concerned about reliability. The Chinese head units are prone to falling. Are these built similarly?
Second I would be concerned about the resale of the van.
I know if I was looking to buy a van and it had these clocks on it as much as I would think they’re cool it would raise my concerns about the mileage being correct.
Even if the EEPROM prevents tampering it would still be in the back of my mind.

yes, I have exactly these fears too, the final exam will be very cold and very hot. luckily it's not android but linux, so the stability then looks fine. we will see in the future.

I have hidden all the things from the original cluster and it is not a problem to rebuild it when I sell it.

here in the Czech Republic, kilometers are recorded online every 2 years, so manipulation is no longer possible, otherwise you will not be allowed to drive on the road

if the alarm clocks fail, the car should continue to drive (original motherboard)

I hope they work great for you.
They look fantastic.

How do you update it? Is it possible without pulling the dash apart?

Just seen someone selling these on Facebook at £750 including installation.
I’ll wait.

I bought mine off AliExpress last week, just under £400, turned up in 5 days, fitted myself in around 2 hrs, came with 2 torque drivers and trim removal tools.
You need to cut a small slot in the plastic behind the clocks for space for the extra plug but you'll see where when you try to fit it for the first time as the plug will mark the plastic. I used a small kitchen knife, no bother.

Before you take your old clocks out, set your speed warning to 160mph, and also switch it off in the settings.

I haven't driven it yet, but it looks amazing 1000020275.jpg

Looks nice mate. Was it straight forward enough to fit and what was involved please? You are not far from me if i get stuck :p
