Why not just amend the long coding of the ecm and disable it lol nice and simple
Because it doesn't change..

Thats because your coding the wrong module mate! Coding on the engine control module not the battery regulator!

Okay different method, my start stop is disabled using the adaption I posted above on the battery regulator.

I tried the Engine control module 2 years ago when we first looked at this and it just threw up errors, but interested in the coding change you have used on the ecm..

Ok as soon as i get a chance ill post my coding mate

Im about to get a Carista, OBDeleven or VAG Com setup to do a few things to my VAG cars.

One of the main reasons I’m getting it is to turn off the start stop feature on all of them (a few Vw and Audis) but I’m finding the T6 difficult to get info on. In the S3/Golf R you just set the minimum voltage for the stop start to 19v and it no longer activates.

What should I go for and is there any updated coding for Carista or OBDeleven to do this in the T6?

Have a look through the search function. Absolutely loads of info on this subject as it's a desire for many.
Search Results for Query: Start stop | VW T6 Forum - The Dedicated VW Transporter T6 Forum

Thanks Ed, I spent hours combing through the search on this and other forums before posting and couldn’t find anything on the OBDeleven or Carista long coding updates to turn off the stop start. I was hoping there was someone that had coded it into one of them to save me from trying to do it.

Have t you got the button that you just press? Seems a lot of hassle reprogramming? Is their any benefit to this? Mine hasn't done stop start for ages with it being so cold. Not sure what everyone is going on about or have I missed something?

If your S/S isn’t kicking in, just be mindful of battery discharge in this cold weather.. might be worth checking with a meter / trickle charging overnight.

Yes, have the button, but its the times I forget to press it and it catch me out, so as I can program it fairly easily, I did.

Yes, but while the weather is bad i want to keep it dissabled.

im on the road all day and end up pressing the button 40 times a day . . . . .

so this gizmo will save me a headache.
