Nah I'm going to cut my b pillar out. I have one vent grill (small one) and the part number I had for the corner vent was wrong so I've left it with them till I get the correct part number.

Using the part number in DavyB original post 7H0 819 383B gave me this vent, my fault for not checking the part numbers to parts needed prior to ordering.

Ah, when I did it I ordered they b pillar with the vents in. I thought it all came as one. Maybe next time I will just order the grills if you report back its easy to get the cut outs in the correct place.

Yes maybe, I will try one first off the van before I mount both on the tailgate. They are described as Lumen-1150~1800 ?

Over 1000 lumen is very bright. Useful for work, but very bright.

If you find they are too bright you could add a resistor to the circuit to make it dimmer this is known as analog dimming.

And for anybody who doesn't know what a Lumen is, if you've got standard halogen rear lights, put your van in reverse. That pathetic, barely there white light at the rear is about a Lumen.

Decided to take a trip to CamperMart and ended with a set of these.

Not bad considering all I wanted to get was a few front bumper trim bits. They are pearlescent too, purple turning to blue.
