What Have You Bought Today?

Looks to me like a Rock n Roll bed, not a front bench/seat
Yes, I agree, as it’s alongside the wheel arch. Is the seat portion of such a bed deep enough to accommodate two batteries lengthways on as per the photo. That is the optical illusion I am having trouble visualising. Even if it does that isn’t any real help to me as I don’t have such a set up in my van. My AGM leisure battery is under the drivers seat; I’d like to swap it out for a lifepo4 if I could (afford) it. 1 battery is a squeeze under the drivers seat, 2 is going to need a magician.

That is good value at £20.00. The one I have bought is heavy plate steel. It wouldn’t be out of place on the front of an armoured vehicle. It will probably outlive me. It definitely will if i don’t find any wood to burn in it.
The THQ one is the same.
Looks miles more substantial

My previous van had a RnR bed and yes, there is definitely the depth in there to do that. I stored all sorts under there (picnic tables, chairs etc)

Just bought led upgrades on THQ

1) reg plate bulbs/units
2) led bulb for side step
3) interior led map reading lights
4) led fog light bulbs

Next on my list is

Led headlights
Led rear lights (inc brake light high level)
Full kitchen unit

With thanks to @Grim Reaper and @BoroBoy I have successfully installed my newly purchased Cadac windbreaks on to the newer Cadac 2 cook 3.
Made slightly more difficult by me misplacing the bolts and rivnuts that I was given in a little baggie.
Amazon to the rescue with the purchase of the well known brand Aojsup rivnut gun and 70 varying sized 5mm thumb screws direct from China!
Brownie points accrued, the Mrs is happy!

@Drive Wayne - We will have to addyou to the "official installers" list for these Windbreaks. I only have 2 to get rid of.

Ordered and received 6 black aluminium extending poles from Funky Leisure for my Debus canopy (which I bought as a factory 2nd from eBay)
I’ve been using a 5 pole set up; using a mishmash of the original steel Debus extending poles together with a couple of fixed poles from my Khyam sun canopy.
The new poles have a much better locking mechanism and much more height adjustment, so I can play with alternative configurations.
Unfortunately they are slightly too long to fit in the original Debus bag.

Two of these...

And a set of these...

Two of these...
I've just got 2 of these, arriving today (mainly because our normal ones seat us really upright in a horrible position)

We've really struggled with chair choice.

We started-off with some that we used when we were tent camping - these were neither compact nor comfortable.
Then we bought some ultra portable ones - excellent for taking down to the beach, but difficult to get out of and too low for sitting at a table.
Then we bought some that promised a size/comfort compromise - these were fairly compact but only marginally more comfortable than our originals.
Now we've gone all-out for comfort (and sod the size) with the Zempire Halo chairs - they're really comfortable - and we also carry the ultra portables in the van just for beach use.

I'm really hoping we've cracked it now and that we won't have to buy any more bloody chairs!!:grin bounce:
