Chris @Dav-Tec did mine, very reasonable, no issues, perfect...Just need to fit them now![]()

What did you plump for?I also bought a petrol generator, stuck out in the sticks we get frequent power cuts and I'm fed up with having no power.
Wouldn't be the furthest someone's travelled. Had a guy come to us from Tain for a basic tracker install about 5 weeks agoMan, I’d love to but that a 406 mile round trip. @Dav-Tec gets a really good rep too, so it’s a shame. You’d think with all the T6’s up here in Scotland we’d have a good specialist in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
True to be fair. I’m actually going to attack it on my own. I will be calling on you at some point no doubt for future installs. Wouldn’t be too hard to stay at a site local to you and book inWouldn't be the furthest someone's travelled. Had a guy come to us from Tain for a basic tracker install about 5 weeks ago
When our power went off my neighbour phoned me to ask if I'd got a generator, I popped round and he'd got half a dozen, the biggest looked like it could power a village. What did you plump for?
Having no idea what a Jackery Explorer 1000 was I googled it, I nearly fell off my chair when I saw the price!Nowadays, the high tech approach to the less frequent cuts is called Jackery Explorer 1000 (two of them) and a slightly less techie gas camping stoves.
I hear this fan has been having some wild (forced) sex parties lately.Got this a few days ago. Haven't tried it in the van yet, but it does a good job of warming the downstairs shower room in the morning. £20 on Amazon.

Not very noisy, but I wouldn't sleep with it on.
Does it regulate temperature with a thermostat? The tilt-protection makes it less of a worry to leave running. (Presumably, this is just a pressure switch cut-off - no pressure = no power!)A little 240v, 600 / 1200 watt heater for the bus.
It also blows ambient air around, if you want it to.
Oscillates as well if that’s your thing…

£37 GBP from B&Q
Q1: Does it regulate temperature with a thermostat?
Dear Mr @JOGQ2: The tilt-protection makes it less of a worry to leave running. (Presumably, this is just a pressure switch cut-off - no pressure = no power!)
Oooh, eh! Where can I get me one of dem well posh “Beach” versions?!!!Dear Mr @JOG
Re Q1:
Mmm, not sure...
I've used it twice overnight now & set it to 20 degrees, on it's lowest 600w setting.
Never heard it shutting down to be honest.
I think whatever temp you electronically set it at, it blows this temp out until you turn it up/down/off.
Drink was heavily involved in both overnight stays, so potentially this clouded any proper scientific study!!
If you manually turn it off (whilst still being connected to a 240v supply) after using it as a heater, it runs for a few more minutes until it blows cool air, then shuts down.
Re Q2:
Yes it is
This is the technical bumf:

I'd recommend it for a campervan, especially for a very posh "Beach" version!!![]()
I bought one of these after seeing your purchase, bloody brilliantGot one of these a while ago and its been languishing in the garage. Used it for the roof today and it was really good. It has a noodle style wash pad, so ideal for minimising swirls and the pole means I can wash past the centreline without having to reach over / continually move the step-up.
