Nice one @Jlo I have one too, a 1963 beetle we imported from Canberra, Oz.

The van is for the now whereas the beetle is for when I retire, save me having nothing to.

There she is in the background, towel rail bumpers are in the garage as they are so bloody rare.

I intend to get a similar project, if all goes to plan I will be taking early retirement in 1 year 2 months 4 weeks and 2 days - I have an app on my phone

Not bought but got the Velle booked in to get the standard suspension refitted and B14’s/H&R ARB’s removed in prep for selling the bus. It’ll be a shame but relocating to France soon and no need for the bus.

will be sad to see her go, being a great vehicle in the 4 years since I’ve had it. No idea what to sell her for but will have a gander and decide when the time comes!

Same here but 28th May 2021 is my retirement day, last day at work and can’t wait

Bought one of those on ebay at the back end of last year but haven't got round to swapping it. I bought the adapter cable from AliExpress rather than repinning the existing plugs.

Brilliant to be honest, kept the body nice and firm, no roll at all as demonstrated to me by one of Oli’s mechanics taking a roundabout at quite a speed lol
