Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

After some awful weather Suday afternoon, we drove down to Quesada on the Costa Blanca on Monday to stay with some old friends for a week. Spot the van at the bottom of the picture (another drone shot - just getting used to it and and pleased that it's not been lost or crashed so far (the tech is supposed to prevent most of that but....):

Where/how do you find pubs that offer this service @twotone2? Do you use Brit Stops?
Plus the other app’s. If you come across a place you like I’ve found if you just ask the person managing the pub nicely there is more chance of them saying yes than no, especially on a weekday.

Good point, well made. :)

Your post sorely tempted me to go for a quick break somewhere around Buttermere or Ullswater, but it seems all the decent sites are booked-up. So, instead, we're off to North Wales for a couple of nights here...
No electric, nothing much around, but right on the coast of Hell's Mouth, with the costal path running virtually through the site.
Change of plan.

The weather forecast for this weekend looks truly awful for that corner of Wales, so have now move that booking to July (courtesy of the very accommodating site owner at Treheli Farm) and we're now off to East Yorkshire, Driffield, here...

Todays campsite is Sexten Caravan Park, in the Dolomites Italy, although confusingly they all speak German in the area.
Nice site, the photo doesn’t do the backdrop justice sorry.
And we have finally seen another UK reg, in fact it’s on a caravan outfit just across from us. Off into the mountains tomorrow, hope the weather holds. It’s a lot colder in the evening here than it was by Lake Garda!

This car park is well worth the money, you can stay overnight as long as you like.
Amazing views and walks.

Thanks @DXX we are actually going there on the bus from Sexten tomorrow to walk the Three Peaks. It’s 45euro to get the van up the road and an hour each way from the campsite so the bus makes sense. Would have liked to stay up there but happy enough with the day trip.
Bit like Cairngorm Mountain car park only a lot higher :).

Wow camping and ice cream. That’s on my list. Love the east coast. If you head up towards Bempton try the beach at North Landings. Watch the puffins fly in just over your head. One of our favourite places. We usually stay at Wold Farm.
