Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Which is exactly why there’s loads of crap fly-tipped on the edge of my road up on the moors.
Ironically, you can report it and the council send a wagon round with 2 guys that collect it all up and presumably take it to the tip.
It defies logic.
Unless the flytipping is on private land - then the landowner gets stiffed to fund the removal.

I’ll get off my soapbox now

Drove to work and met up with the devilishly handsome @Albel . Our vans seemed to get on well, lovely to see Al's rear speaker pods, perfect for mine! Next job....

This weekend the Roadtrippers tried a new camping location, in this case a converted railway coach in Coalport.

A bit quirky but a lovely location and right on the doorstep of the Ironbridge itself and all the associated museums. Absolutely ideal for a family into industrial heritage (you may have noted a theme to our visits)

The only thing is the direct route across the gorge is the Coalport bridge and, gentle reader, I wussed out and did the 2 mile diversion up the valley and back...

I know that location well. I hadn't realised you could sleep in the carriage.
The pub close by is good too.

Pete
They have 2, the larger one further away sleeps 6 and the end one we had sleeps 4.

What I'm shocked at is in over a decade of being near permanent members of the Ironbridge museum pass and visiting most of the heritage railways in the area we've never found them before, it's literally one corner beyond the area we thought we knew

Always a pleasant drive through Bradford! I did it too many times on visits to my vans birthplace in Shipley. I might not be a northerner, but my van is!
Having previously worked in the city centre for just a few months, I try to avoid Bradfordistan like the plague. The standard of driving is appalling, with an utter disregard for the law, for safety, for common sense and for the laws of physics - it really has to be seen to be believed and is like nowhere else I've ever driven.

Marseille on a motorbike trumps Bradford, but only just!
