The wife won’t wild camp and definitely can’t do that with the kids so that rules out camping as a way to get them out the houseWild camping it is then. Although park4night had tried to distance itself from anyone going too the parking sites they list!
Yeah, someone who works for me is base near Frankfurt and he got the message that they can’t leave the house!
Their supermarkets are full though and if you look at the number of deaths in Germany against the number of cases and compare to the UK it’s much lower. Not sure why that is
Whilst at the current time we remain open, you will notice some changes when you arrive:
- All campsites are running at a maximum of 50% occupancy, with more space to promote easier social distancing between pitches
- Meets, gatherings and socialising in groups outside your travel party are not permitted
- All on-site social and communal areas will be closed
- All facilities blocks are closed, this includes toilets and showers
- A number of our Club sites will remain shut at the start of the season
Seems my worse fears and becoming true. Think I'll be putting the cover back on and sorn the van
Buona Fortuna Amico.... dear friends, I am writing to you from Italy, we are obliged to stay at home here, schools are closed and transport is kept to a minimum, the same happens near Slovenia (I live a few meters from the Slovenian border ), the borders are closed and also the borders between Slovenia and Croatia. In the nearby region of Istria, the campsites would open from April 24 but nobody will open .... even the hotel chains have closed ... it's not a good situation ... I hope it will be better for all of you
