Lithium Battery size for fitting under the vehicle

Hi,

I really like the idea of saving space by having my leisure batteries fitted underneath the chassis of my T6.1. New Wave Customs makes a bracket (see pic) that can do this, but they fit a 50 amh Extreme Series Battery Model PC1100, which is not a lithium battery. So, I'm trying to find lithium batteries of the same dimensions but higher amh (see dimensions of the Extreme Series below) to use instead.

Does anyone know where I can get lithium batteries in that dimension? And does anyone have any opinions on the wisdom of trying to put lithium batteries in a system like this? The batteries and cradle are covered by the underfloor panels.

None that I've seen in that dimensions.

But I'm sure I've seen other under floor brackets for a more standard AGM style battery.

Call them and ask if they do other sizes?

Lithium batteries don’t like the cold might be one of the reasons possibly

You can get Batteries built to custom sizes.

Offgrid Solutions in Oxfordshire for one.

93mm at the least wide point - that’s quite narrow isn’t it

Even small 50ah lithiums are typically 135mm wide.



You’d likely need a custom battery like CAB says or make a pack up of many small capacity batteries. Likely be expensive but on the plus side you could draw a huge current!
