Retrofit TMPS

Has anyone retrofitted Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to their panel van? Or fitted an after market solution? There appears to be a few after market ones available but don't much like the look of any of them. I came across this system which is coming out soon from Schrader. It uses Bluetooth and and App on your phone and can also then show up on your CarPay head unit. Looks like a neat solution. Any thought?

I've fitted OEM TPMS on mine

T6 or T6.1 ?

You can activate indirect TPMS for free (software required) that uses ABS sensors to detect tyre deflation or you can install direct TPMS to get actual pressure values

I'm also interested in direct TPMS - I understand it requires some specific module + wheel sensors ?

Thats correct, theres a control module that fits under van that needs a power supply and a canbus connection then the sensors need to be installed into the wheel valves

I’ve put Bluetooth tpms on mine. They are valve caps that screw onto your existing valve stems. Can also get a normal internal valve stem type one, but i didn’t fancy having all tyres off. Small usb powered receiver connects to an android head unit.
