T6 Aftermarket Digital Instrument Cluster

How do you know your tank is 70L? The only way I could find out for sure was to completely fill it and look at VCDS. Sure you’ve not got an 80L tank like mine?

Stock T6 Euro 6 lost 10 litres of capacity due to the adblue tank. Although there was supposedly an upgrade option.

Yes, it’s more about how to know, since not all build sheets show tank capacity. Mine doesn’t. See the beginning of this thread.

Change units to US gallons. Then convert the US gallons value in the digi dash to litres yourself? the bug was they weren't aware there were US gallons and UK gallons. So using US gallons should be reporting the right value.
In my case it makes no difference gallons (US) or liters/km

Version 1 no wireless Carplay option in IC.

The seller claims there is only one version, everything else is software…

Fitting in Bristol today I will be done about 2:00 p.m. and have a spare T6 with remote optional in case you don't have a multifunction steering wheel. If you are in the Bristol area trying to make your mind up save yourself the fuel charge and give me a call.

Getting used to the cluster now. My navigation "no signal" was fixed by pressing up. When sticking the headlights on, the radio screen doesn't dim now. I'm sure it used to? It's not massively off putting but it makes the radio screen look washed out due to the high backlight level.

I'm guessing this is another bug, but it seems an easy catch so would have assumed someone else will have seen this? perhaps its already on the bug list?

Has anyone else noticed when the ablue low message comes up, it shows the distance in km...where all settings are in miles.

For example, mine is showing the message:

Please add AdBlue (DEF)! Rang
e: 1200km

Also, i have no idea what '(DEF)!' is trying to tell me

Diesel Exhaust Fluid, Adblue is a trademark so some prefer not to use that name.
Ah, that makes sense...i've clearly been looking at too much code as when i saw DEF in brackets, im thinking its a broken link to something unDEFined!

Disappointing they dont pay attention to the word wrapping also, it doesn't take too much effort to ensure all messages are 'x' characters long per line so you dont end up with the stupid Rang

Indeed. Especially in the settings pages. I tested out the navigation tonight using stock VW headset and it works well, I have it showing the nav in the inside of the dials. Shows a progress bar as you get closer to where you are supposed to turn. But the text wrapping spoils the look a little. Not sure how they could fix that, perhaps scaling to fit but then the text might get really small. They could truncate the text and have it dotted, e.g: Some Long Ro....

Yes, it's been noted and on service it needs to move with the units change too, I read this as a countdown to spending money, in both cases units changes won't delay the inevitable unfortunately. It's all the other things that do not have countdowns on these vans you have to worry about! Lol

On another note, I don't think my washer fluid low warning is working...... I ran out today with no warning on the dash.
Its not, had the same issue and a random bong the day before (suspect that was the OEM Board telling me its low)

I wonder if the other alerts work as well? Before I swapped over to the digi dash it told me my key fob battery needed changing and it didn't warn me again. I remembered and changed it anyway.

Driver fatigue alert came on this morning after 4:45hrs of driving. Don't recall it being that time frame before? That said I don't think I've ever managed that distance without a toilet stop.

The ice warning would be good if it had more than just the snowflake symbol top right.

It bongs when it hits 4.5c

Playing around in the KI settings, you probably disabled a check box by accident

Happens to me by unchecking the comfort turn signal
