@bethamari - The Red Lion pub is just 1 mile up the road. Serves good food.

We will bring our poverty bikes again, I can cope with 1 mile. Bala nearly killed me on the way back!

My pizza oven will be coming along so we are covered for Wednesday and Thursday (caveat:- I’m only going on Wednesday if the weather is good)

We’ve swapped our arrival date to get there on the Wednesday and leave on Sunday now rather than Monday as we need to get back for a body shop appointment for those remaining hail dents.

Now just fingers crossed it’s good enough weather on the Wednesday to catch up with @Bigsidavies and hopefully eat pizza! On a serious note if we can bring any toppings or anything to help then please let us know

We've had quite a nice summer. It was yesterday morning. Today I'm enjoying the wet autumn that has followed.

Our local forecaster said yesterday that the 2nd half of July would be 'better than the first half", though that couldn't be too difficult really, could it.

If it's forecast like last year we'll be stopping at home. This year has been absolutely shocking. Only managed one weekend away in this country so far.

I’ve never paid for an awning. I had my canopy and a seperate lounge awning last year.

It was on my invoice but when I queried they said: “I’ve just double checked with the Manager and there is no charge for a canopy if it is attached to the vehicle. I have therefore removed the awning charge...”

I’ve only got 2 awnings 1 tent 1 trailer 1 van …..( 1 Wife in her 1 car ) but the awnings are attached to the vehicles….Oh ..and of course the wife’s attached to me

Dont intend to pay any more for her ….
