What Have You Bought Today?

I’m with you Dave!
Really useful when camping as we store stuff in the footwell, good for scooping up cans that roll out of a bag round your feet, unbolting the driver's seat on a dark night, changing fuses in the pig of a fusebox, and they illuminate the ground when you open the doors...but what have the Romans ever done for us...

Ah, now I understand, it's a camping thing!
None of those things have ever been an issue for me, I only store my size 9's in the footwell when I'm driving!

One of these for my ever burgeoning Makita tool shed - Makita DMP180Z 18V LXT Inflator Bare Unit

Really, really useful, topped up my van, wife’s Car and my parents cars, went Nextdoor and did my neighbours pair of T6.1’s, then blew up all the kids various footballs/basketballs/netballs etc and was seriously tempted to blow up the paddle board too

I have one, I check the five cars in my family every few weeks, if I didn't, they'd never get done.
These are so useful, so many people drive to a petrol station and check tyre pressures when the tyres are warmed from driving, not really a great way to do it.

Footwell lights - I don't get it. I just don't know what the point is. Maybe I'm missing something?
If you drop your phone driving down the motorway at night you can find it easier?
I’m with you, I really dunno, with all the subtle lighting and soft furnishings I’d be expecting a lap dance:thumbsdown:

Little bit envious of the Makita collection… I went with a cheaper 18V brand as my tool usage is only occasional. The inflator has been one of the most useful ones though

Usually have the overhead lights set to off so when we pull up home and open the doors they don't wake up the kids. Hence the footwells come in handy. That's a unique scenario though!

If she’s managed to get down in the footwell, I’d assume the lap dance is finished and a bill for “extras” is imminent!

I have a Westfalia detachable on my van, I have no need for it as I don’t tow anything but it was on the van when I bought it.
I’ve left it attached for extra rear protection, and sure enough, last week it saved my tailgate spoiler as I was reversing up against a wall.

Great reason to leave it sticking out! Besides, after the first bash on the shins, I tend to take more care!!

Good buy mate - I succumbed to my inner grumpy old bugger about 2 years ago when sat behind some numpty in the queue for the local supermarket airline and waited 15 mins (I kid you not) for the lass in front to spend as much time on her phone as she spent using the actual airline.

So, got on my phone, ordered a rechargeable Ring lithium-ion tyre inflator via Argos fast-track click and collect (from the same retail park), and was on my way home 5 mins later - I’ve used it pretty much every week since on a fortnightly rotation with the missus’ car.

Cheapest performance mod out there = correct tyre pressures.

The original audible parking sensor, if somebody made a tow bar with a hitch on both corners it would be a seller.
