What Have You Bought Today?

A full tank of diesel!
Quite an outlay nowadays! :grin bounce:

I was getting close to £100 the other day in my teeny 70 litre tank.

I picked up the super unleaded nozzle by mistake to fill the Polo the other day. That was over £70. It had done 420 miles with 20 miles to go on the previous tank. I wondered if It would do better mpg with the posh stuff, so I said nothing to my Mrs so as not to influence her driving style. She filled it up again yesterday. 410 miles covered with 25 miles to go.

New pressure washer, my old Karcher died mid wash the other week.
Decided to treat myself to a Kranzle with new snowfoam attachment which should last for many years.
I was going to wash the van but changed my mind with the weather forecast.

It will be interesting to hear how this compares with you old Karcher
I have had for a few weeks tbh and have used it. I have a stubby handle with a few different spay patterns and the power from it is amazing much better than the Karcher. The build quality is far better with all brass connections ect.

thats a big box for 3 brushes
I thought that too….maybe they went to the Amazon school of packaging! Jeez, I can fill my recycling bin with a single delivery!!!

Brass connections are best. I’m guessing the snow foam attachment was separate? Can you post a link for them?

Got them from ECA cleaning, looks like it's sold out at the moment.
Foam and stumpy gun

Pass me a hanky….my eyes started watering at the prices! Jeez, you’d get 5 or 6 K2’s for that price! But, and it’s a big “but”, it is a brass motor with stainless steel lance….so, you do get what you pay for.

I did think the same but I've gone through 2 karchers in 3 years, I use them for most weekends for the the van/car and also drive/patio.
I see it as an investment, hopefully last me 10 years.

That van does not need washing .....
The light makes it look better than it is, I'm travelling to Warwick tomorrow morning so it would only get shit up again.

I know what you mean…I tend to burn them out too! (Probably let too much water splash in its direction when doing the annual patio clean!) From your usage so far, it seems that the quality is better. My German friends love their Karchers (and keep ripping the piss out of my failure to pronounce it correctly!)

I went from a Karcher to a Kranzle, it's like going from a Dacia Duster to a Range Rover.
I went for the K1050 TST.

I've got a cheap Aldi workzone one. Water comes out of the nozzle at high pressure just like it says on the tin, it's lasted about 4 years and I use it several times a week. It's been totally reliable, for what I payed for it, can't recall exactly but it was peanuts, it's hard to fault.

SWMBO would actually shoot me if I paid £500+ for a pressure washer! (Though she is content with multiple purchases of £100!!!)

That’s my sort of machine!

Ah yes, but as per forum rules it would only be a £250 pressure washer. ;):slow rofl:
