What Have You Bought Today?

It’s the spread. The amount is marked in degrees (it is on mine).
I think they have numbers. Will dig it out and have a look later. It's still wet and miserable in Glasgow, so van hasn't had a proper clean in months!
@Skyliner33 do you know if it's the lower or higher number for a wider spread of spray?

Larger number wider spray. My widest us 40 and narrowest is 0. Dont use the 0 one.

Thanks, but I really could use some before Bala otherwise no bed lol.
I think the issue will be the standard cali ocean has plastic receivers on either side. Where as the Beach I think is basically a Caravelle with a pop top

Yes, I thought the bed height is the same in each version, therefor if I could get legs for a Beach then I could make the board for an "ocean"?

Or is the bed in the beach the same as a Caravelle?

A few purchases made in the last couple of days:

After much mattress research (something I thought I’d never say), I bought a Duvalay VW Campervan 5cm Freshtec mattress topper. We tried their 2.5cm Compact Topper on our campervan’s maiden voyage and decided that an upgrade in sleeping comfort was required!

Bought one of these Ducksback cable storage bags to store the 25m electric cable in. It’s tidy, quite literally.

And finally, also after much research into camping chair reviews (what has my life become? :)) a couple of these rather premium (ie scarily expensive) Helinox Sunset chairs to replace our decades old camping chairs. Wanted something more compact and also much lighter. Got them for a slightly better price via Bergzeit. Could only afford two, so the teenager will have to sit on the floor if he deigns to join us on a campervan trip

Is there any point as a campervan owner than you stop buying accessories for it? No, thought so.

Ouch! The cable tidy bag was cheap, but the topper and the chairs made my eyes water.

Tell me about it :rofl: I never thought camping chairs could be as expensive but reviews were universally positive so I consider it an investment to have super lightweight, compact chairs that should last years. 5 year warranty and I got each chair for £20 less than the usual price. Still a lot but hopefully worthwhile.

On the mattress topper front, the Freshtec was also highly recommended. I was actually fine with the 2.5cm compact topper from Duvalay but the boss wanted more comfort so who am I to argue :) I’ll likely be selling the compact topper to help fund this splurge. Only used once etc…

I thought the Beach was the same as a Caravelle.
Hiya Jon
The legs for the bed turned up today with a paper template. I am away next week but if you want to meet up over the weekend to take some drawings/measurements that’s fine. I am going to CRS tomorrow morning thoughA04BC10C-1EB9-45FE-A440-F55580BEA166.jpeg
