What Have You Bought Today?

After a bad "f*************k it!"moment yesterday (where I forgot I was a bit paralysed and smashed my portable screen whilst removing it from the headrest), I bought another identical item which I use with a fire stick as it has been brilliant:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08MVQM...i_i_Z9FCV9FD8J8F3FMWAJ1Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Whilst I was at it, I decided I liked the idea of an option for my three kids to watch the screen on longer journeys. So I wasted some money on one of these: (as I am thick and didn't know Bluetooth can only cope with 2 channels):
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09PBSX...i_i_2HCYK1FG7CSRN1AWN0NQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I then received this stuff today and thought, "hang on, if I buy a nice BT speaker with a 3.5mm line-out I can then split the output and get the kids to plug in to the speaker. All will enjoy quality sound through wired headphones and I will enjoy quality sound from the speaker when on a pitch. So I bought this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HZ14...i_i_PCTZ204EGCXQB1DRTHPN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
And this:
Then one of my kids told be the volume control was broken on their Beats headphones, so I bought this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08QCYS5WL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_X4TEKDTNKWDNHQC20XEQ
Then my other to two kids told me that their "wired" speakers were broken and they only use Bluetooth speakers these days and have no headphones! So I bought 2 of these:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074TGY...i_i_9XSDV9NARP69RGZ48DWD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I'm done now and was reminded by the wife that I was reluctant to have a telly in the first place!.......... turns out I've lost it!

Well some of you might remember I had my van ceramic coated by a company who made a absolute balls of the prep which left really bad sanding marks deep in the paint, so today I paid the price for a professional company to sort my van out and here is the outcome.F5A5FC6F-0B7D-448D-A1C5-474EC7025051.jpeg

A little 800W oil filled radiator. Bought it in The Range for £20 yesterday - Go Outdoors have a Quest branded one with exactly the same spec for £45. We're off to North Devon (Mortehoe) tomorrow for the rest of the week and this will take the edge off if it gets a bit chilly20220501_111822.jpg..

I sincerely hope you get tw&ts who messed up our initial detail shut down @Kevwkevw. Nobody deserves what you have been through mate.

I bloody wish it was, it has damaged the paintwork on the bumper although it is due to get resprayed so not too worried. Still annoying though hence buying a better spec DA with a 3 year warranty.

Good call, its still a bit nippy in the evening and early on.

That's a great collection of fridge magnets, both decorative and functional!

@CAB. Thanks but the problem with a small fridge is that you quickly run out of space - you ought to see the magnet collection large double size fridge freezer at home!

Wish I hadn't bothered, purchased Jan 22, 1st time used April 22 and one of the poles split across a knot in the wood. No joy from the supplier, apparently the poles can do this. 'Because it is a natural material the wood will contract and expand naturally over time as temperature and humidity changes. Even when these are sat idol they can still be affected by this' future business lost from me for the sake of a fiver replacement. I hate this really poor customer service.

Oh that's too bad. Haven't used mine yet but realise that metal poles would be much better suited
