So now I have a blank canvas, I’m thinking Hilo, air ride, custom audio and a Caravelle floor and 3 seater. Unless anyone can advise on a suitably low seat/bed to go with the Hilo
Oh the 2000w inverter with a 230ah battery and Webasto thermo call being fitted by Oli @BognorMotors in the 24th of this month

Supermetal charger wheels and Goodyear tyres. Bit if a chore finding a local fitter who’s keen to do the reverse mount though, so fitting delayed until later in the week

Quality looks reasonable. Will be interesting to see if swivels still work without removing. If they don't the holder iteself detaches from straps so not a big issue.

Tyres get fitted from the back due to the design of the drop centre.

Thanks. By drop centre, do you mean the dish? I'm not sure why it makes a difference. So they put them face down on the machine?

The drop centre (the narrower diameter part) is the part of the wheel that allows a tyre to be fitted.

Well that's a reason for me to rule those wheels out if the fitting of tyres is going to be complicated and need special machines.

How do you know before buying a wheel?

How do you know before buying a wheel?

When you look at the wheel you can tell, those have an obvious big front bead seat vs the rear.

Not necessarily a special machine, but definitely need more care, and finding a fitter who takes care is sometime the hardest part!

Fitting when new is the easiest, as you can take steps to protect the rim, the real problem is in tire removal, as its much less obvious, and a tyre fitter could easily not notice, and that's where you can get rim damage.

Kwik fit did mine and the guy spotted it straight away-I never knew. They put some plastic blocks on the tyre machine then do it all upside down if that makes sense.
Anyway, they didn’t mark the wheels and if kwik fit can do it then it can’t be that specialist.
