Ohhhh , a few years ago I was at a country punk festival in Tennessee folks had 12 can PBR holders like this ,this looks just the ticket I’m in. Digging the banderilleros look Dell

It looks great and is definitely near the top of my list for an awning. We've always been pleased with Berghaus gear and you recommendation reinforces that. Thank so much for taking the time to reply and post some pictures. It's good to see being used by a real person. When will you be able to use it in anger for the first time?
We're hoping to get a couple of days nice weather to try it out before the end of the season. I will let you know how we get on with it.

John.

This week, I had a little win on the lottery :D

So I bought some "van stuff"

A new Outwell Touring Shelter Canopy, product code 111124, as this 1 is 3m in depth, but sadly they sent 111254, which is shorter at 2.4m.
No stock left of the longer 1.
Organised to send back the short 1.

Wanted (expected) : As delivered (not wanted):

BM2 battery monitor, to see what the Noco battery is up to at any time:

And finally a new set of boots of all seasons Michelin Cross Climate 2 flavour, as the original Pilot Sport 4's are getting ready to run as slicks for a track day.
I used to have a proper winter set of alloys / tyres & a summer set of alloys / tyres, but hopefully these new rubbers will allow no more swapping over twice a year?
If there good enough for @VanDamMan , the're good enough for me!

At least with a £100 Costco discount, the cost is a little bit easier to swallow.

My lottery win, to pay for the above, will be collected as soon as I can get to the local shop:

Nice one. My last three sets of tyres were cross climates. Also from Costco!

Much as I love the cross climates I stopped getting them from the local Costco as they were not kind on the wheels during change, the XC70s alloys were damaged where they used knock on balance weights. Annoyingly I didn't realise the consequences of that until about a year later when the dealer pointed it out during the service.

Dear John……

@moomin-j …will stop buying stuff I CANT KEEP UP.

ps Michelin tyres are not just doing Costco…..if you down load the claim form it gives a very long list of dealers

Mrs @VanDamMan just got 4 cross climate for £819…

pps Oh also found out they do a Cross Climate Camping tyre for motor homes that allow the vehicle to stand for long times without tyre distortion…pity they don’t do for the T6 ( unless your wheels are 16in )

Cheers :)

Yikes. Which Costco? Or do you recon it’s standard practice?

To be fair it was quite a while ago, Southampton during their opening offers, but once burned and all that. I've sought out the deal at other suppliers since.

I'd just make very clear to them that they shouldn't be used.

The corrosion around the valve stem is age, but that on the rim all emerged about a year after the incident.

Before my new tyres are fitted, I’ll be removing the old inner stick on weights and clean the entire rim. I’ve already told Costco to only use stick on weights & I’ve also asked them to make sure they are stuck on not wonky.
Sheffield Costco fitted my last set of rubber ok, so I’ve no doubt they will again, fingers and all that crossed
