What Have You Bought Today?

And the Ovano table in the image with the firing kit. What an excellent price of kit it is too. Very well made indeed. Thinking of getting the Ovano Switch Xl now.

Some big body wash wet wipes, and a long handled window squeegee/sponge for the inevitable bug kill count I'll rack up on the van over a couple of thousand miles!
Honestly during our trip some of the things that ended their life on my screen were horrific, so much blood and guts. Lucky enough I had our mud daddy for the dogs in the boot so that sorted it.

Yeah it's bad enough on a UK summers evening, I imagine they have some big bugs in southern France/Northern Spain!

I can fit a foot on the wheel but it's something I avoid doing as the consequences if I fell backwards... Let's just say I think there would be a loud snap noise and my foot wouldn't be pointing the right direction. Nope!
I'm a short arse so I took one of these in the boot.

Tbh half the issue on my van is reaching the upper middle of the windscreen  even at 6ft 3in I struggle, and that's nothing to hold on to when stepping on the wheel!

I'll also be taking a spray bottle of ONR diluted as a quick detailer, it's excellent as a window cleaner too so that should be good to shift the bugs. Plus some microfiber towels.
Doorstep and hold a grab handle or just kind of lean onto the door.
The portapotti (thetford 165) is y favorite purchase. Very handy to sit on when covered, Extremely handy for my regular number 1's. I ain't ashamed - portapottiboy4life
Bucket with a lid. Ours just slides under the bed when it’s down.

Just bought some Riviera RF108 in Gloss black and H&R lowering springs. Just need a wash and a ceramic coating and they be good to go.

The utensil roll looks a really good idea
The utensil roll came today, it's really good quality. The cutlery is all well made, decent handles, the only thing it's missing is a can opener and ladel but I doubt I'd ever need them!

Smaller than I thought it would be when rolled up, too - which is never bad! Banana for scale

I don't even bother with 2.0/2.1/2.2m barriers, but I did have to check I was below 2.6m with my bag on my roof as there's some underpasses going around Le Mans than have a 2.6m restriction. I'm at 2.4m at most with a full bag on my rack.

I have a roof tent and a roof box and still fit under the ones in Le Mans. Still duck as I go under though !!

And there's never any road markings until 20ft before that tell you...

I passed my test 23 years ago now... Holy hell.

I still remember my instructor telling me that when you're passing a car on a DC, you wait until they're fully visible in the left mirror, then pull back in - that means you've given enough space and aren't chopping them off. I still use that rule to this day! Funny how stuff sticks with you over the years.
Try telling that to the French

I got myself this very handy usb pump for my sim mattress. I was recommended it by @Johny . Thanks pal
